EXPENSE MANAGEMENT
Q. As a paying participant, what additional expenses are participants responsible for?
A. As guests of Avaya, all meals, refreshments, and player fees during the event are covered by Avaya. Guests are only asked to secure lodging (if needed) and to get themselves to and from the event location. Therefore, guests are only responsible for the following:
• Travel to and from the event (airline tickets and all associated fees)
• Ground transportation to and from the event (cab/rideshare, gas, mileage)
• Lodging
Expenses included in your participation:
• Meals during the event (all food and beverage while you are at the Bayonne Golf Club)
• Golf Expenses (greens fees, caddie fees, caddie gratuity, etc) -

A. The Bayonne Golf Club recommends Hoboken First Class Car & Limo Service, 201-963-4343.

For attendees staying in New York, a water taxi is available. To schedule a pick-up or drop-off, contact the pro shop(golfshop@bayonnegolfclub.com) with at least 24 hour notice to schedule Heaven’s Gate. Pick-ups and drop-offs will be from World Financial Center Ferry Terminal/Brookfield Place Slip 2, Battery Park City Esplanade: 201-823-4800, ext. 0 -
COURSE INFORMATION
Q. What is included in my greens fee?
A. Your greens fee includes:
• Parking at Bayonne Golf Club
• 18 holes of golf at Bayonne Golf Club + food & beverage(brunch prior to start, snacks/drinks on course and post-event reception
• Use of practice range prior to event
Q. Will carts be available at Bayonne Golf Club?
A. Unfortunately the Bayonne Golf Club is a 100% walking course. Should you take the water taxi from Manhattan, there will be a trolley available to transport you to the clubhouse. However once you start play on the course, all movement from hole to hole will be by walking. However, you will still have caddies assigned to your foursome so you will not be carrying your clubs. Also there will be plenty of opportunities for food and beverages along the course.
Q. What is the weather like?
A. Average temperatures in Bayonne, New Jersey in mid-October is in the upper 50s to the mid 60s. For up-to-date weather information visit weather.com.
Q. What is the event cancellation policy?
A. This event is rain or shine. Day-of adjustments due to inclement weather will be made by club management based on the playability of the course. -
SPONSOR/VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
Q. What is the deadline to register?
A. The deadline to register and pay for your round/foursome is October 8.
Q. What types of sponsorship are available?
A. There are a variety of player and non-player sponsorships available. Visit our sponsorship page for more information.
Q. Who is eligible to participate?
A. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome to participate and sponsor at the Avaya Charity Golf Outing. This event is open to Avaya Partners, Customers, Vendors. No MDF funds are available for this event. All expenses incurred must be paid by the individual or organization.
Q. How do I volunteer?
A. Please email golf@avaya.com with your location, and a member of the Corporate Responsibility and Philanthropy team will contact you about linking you to one of our locations to do a joint Month of Giving project.
