Whether you're looking to nominate a deserving individual in your network, attend the event, or simply learn more about the awards process, you'll find the answers you need below. We're excited to celebrate nominees who are delivering experiences that matter and thank you for your interest in participating in this special program.

By participating in this awards program as a nominee or nominating party, you agree to comply with all the terms and conditions below. If you do not agree with all of these terms and conditions or the terms contained within the nomination form, do not participate in this awards program and do not submit a nomination form.


The CX Force Awards are designed to spotlight and celebrate the innovators, strategists, and pioneers dedicated to reshaping the world of customer experience. The CX Force Awards recognize the individuals who create meaningful change and set the benchmark for exceptional experiences. In a world where creating impactful and meaningful experiences is essential for business success, these awards recognize the innovative efforts and accomplishments of those at the forefront of CX excellence.

The inaugural CX Force Awards are founded by Avaya in partnership with the International Avaya User Group (IAUG), a community that enables Avaya users to connect and share ideas that are transforming the industry. The program is co-sponsored by Constellation Research, the Silicon Valley-based technology research and advisory firm.

Winning or being nominated for a CX Force 2024 Award places you or your nominee at the forefront of the customer experience field, highlighting your achievements on an industry-wide stage. This recognition not only builds brand and individual prestige but also opens doors to networking opportunities with peers and leaders who are shaping the future of CX.

To nominate an individual for an award, please visit our nomination page at https://events.avaya.com/cx-force-awards-2024-nomination, complete all required questions within the form, and agree to the terms and conditions. As part of the nomination, you may elect to provide a short video or supporting documents that provide a detailed description of the Nominee’s accomplishments. Alternative methods of nomination are not accepted, and incomplete nominations will not be considered. Nominations submitted after the deadline will also not be considered.

Nominations may not contain: (1) Proprietary, confidential, or sensitive information (including details such as dollar value of deal, proprietary or sensitive details of customer's configuration or business issues they are trying to solve if publicly shared may cause negative business impact, etc.) when answering the questions related to the project, solution, or effort of the nominee. (2) Trade secrets or other information that is inappropriate to share with the general public. (3) Copyrighted materials (whether registered or unregistered) that are owned by third-parties, without permission from the copyright owner(s). (4) Trademarks owned by parties other than the Avaya or the nominee or nominating party submitting the nomination (whether registered or unregistered), without permission of the trademark owner(s)). (5) Information that defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about Avaya, Avaya’s products, and any person, company or product. (6) Messages or images inconsistent with the Avaya’s brand and company.

Yes, self-nominations are welcome. We believe in recognizing individual excellence and achievements, whether identified by peers or through self-awareness. See additional eligibility criteria below.

There is no fee to submit a nomination for the CX Force Awards, and entries are unlimited, so you are welcome to submit as many nominees as desired (1 nomination per submitter, per nominee).

Deadline for CX Force Award submissions extended to April 17 - nominate a CX superstar today! We encourage you to submit your nominations well in advance to ensure they are considered for this year's awards. All times are Eastern Time – based on the time zone set in the electronic system used to process and time stamp the Avaya CX Force Award submissions. Nominations submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

After the nomination period closes, the submissions will be reviewed for eligibility and completion aligning with the instructions on the nomination form and the eligibility requirements in these rules. Our selection process involves a thorough review of all qualifying nominations by a panel of experts – Liz Miller, Vice President and Principal Analyst at Constellation Research; Josh Mueller SVP and Chief Marketing Officer, General Manager of Hardware at Avaya; Lori Wodrich, President at International Avaya User Group; and Katie Linendoll, Technology Expert and Emmy Award-winning TV Personality. The panel will evaluate each nomination to determine the finalists based on the eligibility criteria as defined in this document: their career achievements, innovative CX strategies, the tangible impact of their work, challenges they’ve overcome, and the role Avaya’s technology and solutions played in these accomplishments. Winners will be notified on May 1, 2024, and announced at a special, dedicated reception ceremony at Avaya ENGAGE in Denver, Colorado, on May 15, 2024. The winner list will be available for a period of at least ninety (90) days thereafter on Avaya.com. A panel of judges for each category selected by the sponsor will review all qualifying nominations.

Yes, the CX Force Awards are open to all Avaya customers worldwide. We welcome nominations from all countries and regions.

Winners will have the opportunity to gain industry-wide recognition at the Avaya ENGAGE event in Denver, Colorado, where the winners will be announced.

The CX Force Awards will not be streamed online. We are focusing on creating an immersive and engaging experience for attendees present at Avaya ENGAGE in Denver, Colorado. We understand the value of accessibility and are exploring options to include remote participation in future events. Please stay tuned for updates on future ceremonies, and thank you for your understanding.

This year, we will not be offering sponsorship or partnership opportunities for the CX Force Awards ceremony.

Prizes are non-monetary benefits, as recognition is the basis of the awards. Each of the category winners are based on the criteria noted above. Winner benefits are the following: 1. Winners will have the opportunity to gain industry-wide recognition at the Avaya ENGAGE event in Denver, Colorado, where the winners will be announced, 2. Award trophy, and 3. Published announcements of each winner on Avaya.com, Avaya’s social hubs and related Avaya communities, and at any Avaya event whether the awards are announced virtually or in person. Winners are responsible for any other expenses relating to the acceptance and use of prizes. Avaya has the option, at its sole discretion, of substituting a benefit if for any reason a benefit becomes unavailable, including scheduling or availability. Benefits cannot be transferred, substituted, or redeemed for cash value.

When Avaya notifies potential finalists/winner(s), each potential winner will be required to sign release forms granting permission for the Avaya to announce the winner and reference winner as a customer of Avaya in Avaya’s marketing materials. A nominee will not be announced as an award winner without successful completion of the release forms. If Avaya is unable to reach a potential winner, or if the release forms are not properly completed and returned to Avaya by the date requested, or if an award notification is returned as undeliverable, or if a potential winner is found not to have complied with these Official Rules in any way, the award will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected. Potential winner(s) will be given a deadline to respond and return the completed release forms. All decisions by Avaya are final. Avaya reserves the right to modify or terminate the Avaya Awards promotion at any time and at its sole discretion.

Yes, we welcome you to attend Avaya ENGAGE even if you're not among the award winners. Avaya ENGAGE offers valuable opportunities for learning, networking, and discovering the latest trends and innovations in the world of customer experience and communication technology.

Please note, while we encourage your participation and look forward to having you with us, attendance for non-winning nominees will not be sponsored by Avaya. All submissions must meet the following criteria: (1) Nominations must be submitted by the deadlines as listed above. Late submissions are automatically disqualified; (2) The CX Force Awards are open to either individuals as indicated in the specific criteria for each award listed below and under Award Categories; (3) Each individual or entity/organization must meet criteria of the specified award in addition to all of the following criteria: (4) No individual may be nominated, become a finalist for an individual award, be highlighted or be designated to accept an award on behalf of an organization, if they are not 18 years or older; (5) Avaya customers or community members must be in good standing with Avaya at the time of submission and announcement of finalists/winners; (6) Residents of the following are not eligible to participate as nominees: any country or region under US trade restriction or embargo; (6) Persons in any of the following categories are not eligible to participate as nominees: a) employees or agents of Avaya LLC and its affiliate and subsidiary companies (collectively the “Avaya”), or of any sponsor's participating advertising and promotion agencies, and prize suppliers; b) immediate family members (defined as parents, children, siblings and spouse, regardless of where they reside) and/or those living in the same household as any person in (a) above; c) expert panelists or judges for the selection of the Awards finalists/winners d) competitor to Avaya in the product or area of the related title; e) employees of any company that has a policy against and/or legally prohibits participation in awards or the awarding of a prize/award/benefit to an employee; and f) employees, officers, or officials of any public sector entity, located in the Latin America region including, but not limited to, any person acting in an official capacity for or on behalf of any national, state, provincial or local government, or any department or agency thereof.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, by participating, nominees, nominating parties, finalists, potential winners and winners (“releasing parties”) waive any right to claim ambiguity in the rules, and release, indemnify and hold harmless, and agree to keep indemnified and held harmless, Avaya and its affiliates, subsidiaries and sponsors, and each of their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders and employees (collectively, “released parties") at all times from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, demands, costs or expenses or any liability of any kind (a) resulting from or arising from participation in the awards or acceptance, possession, use, misuse or nonuse of prize(s)/benefits that may be awarded; or (b) for or in respect of which released parties will or may become liable by reason of or related or incidental to any act, default, omission, breach or non-observance, whether negligent or otherwise, by a releasing party under these official rules.

For the purposes of running Avaya Awards, we collect, use, disclose, transfer, process, and store personal data of both the nominating party and the nominee needed to conduct award nominations, judge submissions, contact nominees to review stories, award, publicize finalists/winners and related activities. Avaya does not ask for any sensitive personal data or confidential information. Avaya will process personal information of nominating party and nominees in accordance with the Avaya General Privacy Policy (https://www.avaya.com/en/privacy/policy/). Avaya may use and share a Nominee or Nominating Party’s personal data with third parties to the extent necessary to fulfill its obligation to administer and sponsor the awards.

If any provision(s) of these Official Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.

Avaya reserves the right to cancel or modify the terms of the Avaya CX Force Awards program if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Avaya's control impairs the integrity of this program, as determined by Avaya in its sole discretion. Avaya reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it believes has tampered with the entry or selection process or has acted in violation of these Official Rules. Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of this Avaya Awards program may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and should such an attempt be made, Avaya reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Avaya's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Any attempts by an individual to access any web site associated with this Avaya Awards program via a bot script or other brute force attack or any other unauthorized means will result in the IP address becoming ineligible. Use of automated entry devices or programs is prohibited.
